A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Re Portland letter to Bureau, 7/16/76; and FBI Identification letter to Portland and Seattle, 8/3/76.

Enclosed for Seattle is the original and two copies of an FD-302 reflecting results of interview of MARION HENRY MOONEY at Springfield, Oregon.

For the information of Seattle, MARION HENRY MOONEY, Route 1, Box 140, Springfield, Oregon, was interviewed by BuAgents on 8/19/76,and at that time, after a physical observation of MOONEY, it was determined he has a very prominent nose and a gold front tooth. It was determined that MOONEY does not appear to be identical to the unknown subject of this case known as D. B. COOPER. In view of the above, no further investigation is being conducted in regards to MOONEY.
