SUBJECT: UNSUB: Northwest Airlines Flight 305, Nov 24, 1971 CAA-HIJACKING - EXTORTION
At 7:08AM this morning HENRY SCHUTZ (Ext 3581) Bureau called and advised Bureau has been having some problems with the Military at the Pentagon, over use of military aircraft (helicopters) being used in the terrain search. He indicated that while there will probably not be serious problem with them, military is concerned somewhat over costs, co-ordination and use of their personnel and equipment etc. Bureau would like you to call them as soon as possible. concerning the following:
1 What are we doing on the terrain search? 2- How many copters will we be using? What branch of 3- How long? Estimate of Hours. Mil Service? 4- Do we plan to have SAs aboard. 5- Plans for coordinating with the military.
SCHUTZ requested that you call him first. Do not this with military here first.

ADDENDUM: I also took a call from Las Vegas, who advised Bureau called out to them(DON PERRINE Special Investigative Section) suggesting one certain individual on whom Las Vegas and Se have main 88 files and an IO, a s suspect.
