SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) 2/22/72

SA [REDACTED] b6 b7C NORJAK Sub. 110

On January 7, 1972, witness CORD SPRECKEL, 624 Yale Avenue North, Seattle, Washington, phone 623-7984, was displayed photographs of suspect JAMES CONRAD CLIFFORD. SPRECKEL said that since one photograph of CLIFFORD was taken in 1957 and the other photograph displays CONRAD as unshaven, he could not positively eliminate CLIFFORD as a suspect in captioned hijacking. SPRECKEL said that there are some facial characteristics in the photograph of CLIFFORD taken 6/6/71, which are similar to those of the hijacker, although SPRECKEL felt that this similarity was not great. SPRECKEL stated that if he were furnished a photograph of CLIFFORD taken more recently with CLIFFORD clean shaven, he may be able to eliminate CLIFFORD as a suspect.
