RE: [REDACTED] - INFORMANT

On December 6, 1971, [REDACTED] called me. He advised that he had just received a telephone call from an unidentified woman who said that the hijacker [REDACTED] The caller was to call back in 45 minutes. The caller had inquired if there was a reward.

I immediately called ASAC MORELAND in San Francisco and requested that he have an Agent see [REDACTED] at once and be there when the call was returned.

SA [REDACTED] from San Francisco called later and said he had gone to the Northwest office and talked to the caller who obviously was interested in a reward but had little information beyond that originally provided. The caller declined to provide her identity.
