What does the scan show?
A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

On 1/19/72, [redacted] Washington, advised that he has a client, [redacted] Washington, who has received to apparent "crank" letters from a [redacted] Tillamook, Oregon, which were apparently copies of letters [redacted] had sent to the FBI, Portland. One of the letters mentions D.B. COOPER briefly, and the other indicates that [redacted] knows how to find COOPER. Both of these letters appear to be written by an emotional disturbed person. [redacted] furnished copies of the letters and envelopes which are attached. [redacted] said his client does not know why [redacted] is sending him these letters and he is quite upset by them.
