Re Seattle airtel to Portland, 2/2/72. SUSPECT: GERALD WALDEN GUFFY
Enclosed for Seattle is one photograph of the suspect obtained from GUFFY's Oregon State Penitentiary (OSP) records.
On 2/4/72, the suspect's records were obdered from OSP archives where they had been retired.
On 2/9/72, the aforementioned records were received by OSP, Salem, Oregon, and a review revealed the following:
GUFFY was last arrested on 9/14/66, in Multnomah County for Burglary Not In a Dwelling, received a ten-year sentence, and was paroled on 1/3/70. At the time of parole, he advised that he would seek residence in Portland, Oregon. He is currently on supervised parole in the Portland area; however, no notation of GUFFY's parole officer is listed. There is no indication in the OSP records that GUFFY has ever been active in either parachuting or skydiving activities.
