A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

[REDACTED] claimed to have known from friends in the FBI that LANGSETH had been a suspect in the D. B. COOPER case. [REDACTED] claimed to have information concerning LANGSETH, the source of which [REDACTED] would not divulge, as follows:
---
Approximately one year before the D. B. COOPER hijacking, LANGSETH received training in free fall parachuting, and approximately six months prior to the hijacking, received training in night free falls. Additionally, after the hijacking, LANGSETH periodically received checks from a Canadian trust company in a substantial amount. LANGSETH had an alibi at the time of the hijacking that he was with his brother in New Mexico, which the brother did not corroborate.
---
[REDACTED] advised that from his personal knowledge, LANGSETH [REDACTED] approximately six months prior to the hijacking, and that approximately a year after the hijacking, [REDACTED] saw LANGSETH flashing a lot of money around. [REDACTED] thought that was strange because LANGSETH was always in bad financial condition because he regularly lost jobs due to an alcohol problem.
---
[REDACTED] claimed that from what he knew of the FBI investigation, the FBI eliminated LANGSETH as a suspect because the FBI's records showed LANGSETH was either 20 or 30 years too old or too young. [REDACTED] stated that the FBI's records as to LANGSETH's date of birth were erroneous.
---
LANGSETH presently attends an Episcopal Church in Campbell, which is just off Winchester Street, and worked with the FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP in either Campbell or San Jose, California, with a person named [REDACTED]
---
Prior to viewing the Unsolved Mysteries television show, [REDACTED] had not thought of LANGSETH in connection with the D. B. COOPER case for several years. Prior to the television show, [REDACTED] had never seen an artist's rendition of D. B. COOPER at the time of the hijacking. [REDACTED] however, saw the artist's rendition on Unsolved Mysteries, and immediately recognized the artist's rendition of D. B. COOPER as being LANGSETH. [REDACTED] then called his wife into the room to view the picture of D. B. COOPER, and upon asking his wife who the

picture looked like, [REDACTED] wife answered that it looked like LANGSETH. [REDACTED] additionally stated that the artist's rendition of what D. B. COOPER would presently look like resembled LANGSETH today.
[REDACTED] advised SA [REDACTED] that he would remain in contact with SA [REDACTED] regarding this matter.
