RE: SUSPECT - [REDACTED]

On March 3, 1972, [REDACTED] was interviewed at the Office of U. S. Bureau of Customs at Seattle-Tacoma Airport concerning his possible involvement of the hijacking in this case. He was specifically asked if he recalled any conversation in which there was a discussion about jumping from a plane in connection with the hijacking.

---

[REDACTED] advised he does not recall any conversation which involved anyone parachuting from an airplane in connection with the hijacking, but pointed out that during the time he was going [REDACTED], as many previous hijacking cases as would serve any purpose in [REDACTED] were discussed and it could well have been that they did discuss such a matter. He pointed out that the class was designed to [REDACTED] and to also figure out ways to prevent hijackings so they naturally would discuss possibilities as well as hijackings which actually had taken place in the past. He said the [REDACTED].

---

[REDACTED] when asked if he knew anyone in [REDACTED] [REDACTED] said he did not and mentioned that they did their laundry at a nearby laundromat on a fairly regular basis but did not remember any particular person at the laundromat. With respect [REDACTED] said he could not recall exactly [REDACTED].

---

[REDACTED] then advised that on November 24, 1971, he was staying [REDACTED] at the Seattle- Tacoma Airport and heard about the hijacking on the radio.
