A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

NORJAK [redacted] - SOURCE
---
On 5/1/72 I received a call from USA PITKIN. He advised that he has been talking to [redacted] of NEWSWEEK in New York and Mr. HENRY PETERSON, Assistant Attorney General in Charge of the Criminal Division, and they have decided to give [redacted] immunity [redacted] [redacted] contrary to California law.
He advised that he has arranged for [redacted] to deliver to the New York Agents the two tapes that he retained.
I immediately called Mr. BILL GULBICKI, in the New York Office, the Night Supervisor, asked him to have some agent see [redacted] right away, [redacted] give them to a pilot of an airliner coming to Seattle and let us know when the plane will arrive so we can pick them up.
