A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) 4/28/72

ASAC PAUL R. BIBLER

NORJAK

---

[REDACTED] 300 Medical Dental Building, 98310, called at 2:15 PM, today. He said [REDACTED] had just left his office where they called to interview [REDACTED] Mr. MURPHY. He said that the interview did not get anywhere because before [REDACTED] had demanded to see a copy of the statement which the client had already signed. They said they did not have it to make available and he said that his client then had nothing to say.

I asked him if this meant [REDACTED] would talk to us further if we made a copy of his original statement available? [REDACTED] said, "not necessarily. It may not be in the best interests of my client to discuss this any further."

I told him we would consider his request.
