On 4/27/72 at approximately 2:50 PM, I called Assistant Director BATES, advised him that we believed we had identified the man in the photograph as being identical with DONALD SYLVESTER MURPHY, an acquaintance of [REDACTED]
He has been identified by a number of friends and associates of [REDACTED] He resides close to [REDACTED] is a real estate developer.
We are presently trying to locate MURPHY, are running a complete background on him and will let the Bureau know the results.
