On April 25, 1972, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Kitsap County Bank, advised that two accounts were current at that branch for the account of WILLIAM B. LEWIS. The first, under the name of Seven Beaver Development Company, was described as a long-standing business checking account. The second, under the name of Lewis Logging Company, was described as WILLIAM LEWIS's major operating account, where it was not unusual to re- ceive deposits of five, ten or twenty thousand dollars in the form of contracting checks. [REDACTED] indicated that he did not recall any large cash deposits as having been made to either of these accounts during the last two months, and that he would have recalled any such deposits inasmuch as large cash deposits are always brought to the attention of the bank officers.

Again, on April 25, 1972, during a subsequent tele- phone call, [REDACTED] advised this office that a Subpoena Duces Tecum would be necessary to further review the above accounts or to obtain a more detailed account of recent banking activities in these accounts.
