A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

[REDACTED] - SOURCE

On 4/29/72 SA LEON DOBBS from the Bureau called.

He advised that we should not contact FLEMING, per the New York teletype. I was advised that Mr. PITKIN was issuing a subpoena duces tecum for [REDACTED] [REDACTED] together with the travel documents, to be directed to [REDACTED] in New York for delivery to an FBI Agent, and he wanted it served by Bureau Agents immediately upon receipt.

He was advised that Mr. PITKIN wanted the subpoena served and the receipt obtained before we filed the complaints against [REDACTED] and MURPHY.

I advised him we had contemplated filing complaints against [REDACTED] and MURPHY on 5/1/72 and would effect their arrest that same day.
