Enclosed for Seattle and Portland is one xerox copy each of a photo of MARVIN JOHN COOPER.
On 3/6/72, as a result of being contacted on another investigative matter, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] California, furnished the following information to SA DONALD R. BELMONT:
When he heard the news of captioned hijacking, and the fact that it occurred in the Oregon area and the hijacker used the name COOPER, he immediately thought of [REDACTED] MARVIN JOHN COOPER, who was last known to be in Portland, Oregon. He has no information that [REDACTED] was the hijacker, nor has he any particular reason to believe [REDACTED] could be the hijacker; however, the locality of the hijacking and the same last name, together with the fact that [REDACTED] has been treated for a "mental disturbance" in the past, caused him to wonder about the possibility.
