What does the scan show?
A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

On 11/26/71 [REDACTED] Phoenix, Called. He said that an individual in Phoenix had called after hearing about the hijacking and said he saw a man driving a car with a Washington license plate [REDACTED] a 1971 or 1972 Mercury Comet, who met the description. He was swarthy complected about [REDACTED] and had long black hair.
I asked [REDACTED] if they had any other information to indicate that the individual seen was connected with the crime or if they knew where this person was now and he said "no".
I checked DMV, Olympia, and found that the above license is issued to a Mercury Comet which belongs to the First Northwestern Mortgage Co., Inc., P.O. Box 66558, Burien, Washington.
In the absence of anything further to indicate that there is some significance to this, it does not appear any further investigation should be conducted.
