Re Seattle memo of SA ELKINGTON 7/21/72.
On 8/29/72 an attempt was made to contact [REDACTED] at the Lower Granite Dam, Whitman County Washington with negative results. On 8/29/72 [REDACTED] Colfax, Wa advised he is acquainted with [REDACTED] and has had numerous talks with him due to the fact that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Wa. [REDACTED] lives in an apartment in [REDACTED] but it is unknown where the apartment is. [REDACTED] advised that he has never heard [REDACTED] mention knowing who D.B. COOPER [guess: is] is, and further advised that he has never had anyone to his knowledge come to [REDACTED] that resembl[guess: es] COOPER. [REDACTED] was shown a composite of COOPER and advised it does not resemble anyone he has seen in [guess: the] his business.
