Pursuant to a telephone call from [REDACTED] of the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, to the Yakima Resident Agency on July 31, 1972, Special Agents GODFREY [REDACTED] located [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Yakima.
[REDACTED] advised he was talking at the bar at the [REDACTED] on the previous day concerning the hijacking of the Northwest Orient Airliner on Thanksgiving Eve, 1971. He was saying that a person he knows as [REDACTED] (LNU) closely resembles the artist's conception of the hijacker. This [REDACTED] was suppose to have flown to Vancouver, B.C. on the same day of the hijacking, but he never made the trip. [REDACTED] ad- vised he saw [REDACTED] several days later at the Chinook Hotel in Yakima. [REDACTED] advised that was the last time he saw [REDACTED] and feels he was in no way connected with the hijacking.
[REDACTED] advised he never knew [REDACTED] last name. He advised further [REDACTED] is a white male, age approximately [REDACTED], with all other descriptive data being just "average". [REDACTED] stated he met [REDACTED] last year at the Chinook Hotel and does not know where he is employed. [REDACTED] stated as far as he remembers, [REDACTED] did not smoke cigarettes. [REDACTED] stated apparently [REDACTED] has spent a long time in Spain working for a company there.
[REDACTED] advised his permanent address is [REDACTED] [REDACTED], Yakima, Washington, and he is employed by the National Environmental Development Industry, which is a company that [REDACTED] basically markets farm-type equipment.
