A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

RE: PORTLAND SKY DIVING CLUB SUB 514
---
Re Seattle airtel to Portland, 9/18/73.
During June, 1972, in connection with investigation of instant case, it was determined that the Portland Sky Diving Club had disbanded and was no longer in existence. During 1973, it was determined that the former clubhouse, near Donald, Oregon, remains abandoned and unoccupied.
For further information, immediate contact was established between Agents of the Portland Division and officers of the Portland Sky Diving Club at the time of the initial investigation in this matter. They have been cooperative since the inception, in identifying and assisting in elimination of numerous suspects. During its existence, the club utilized old, worn-out aircraft, and financial inability to maintain and replace them when damaged was a major factor contributing to the demise of the club.
In view of the above, it is apparent the information furnished by [REDACTED] is erroneous.
