On October 11, 1972, a surveillance was made of pay phone booths near the junction of Fredrickson Road and Lewis River Road. As a result of this surveillance, it was noted that two pay phones were located on the Lewis River Road near this junction.

A pay phone number 225-9666, located at the Airel Store approximately two and one-half miles east of the junction on Lewis River Road, was one of the two phones, and the other phone was located at Casey's Grocery Store three miles west of the junction, its number 225-9746.

On October 17, 1972, [REDACTED] b6 General Telephone Company, advised that pay phone booth number b7C 225-9746 was a new phone recently installed and was not in- stalled on November 24, 1971. [REDACTED] further advised after check- ing his records that there was one long-distance phone call made from pay phone 225-9666 located at the Airel Store. This phone call was placed on November 24, 1971, to Portland, Oregon, Area Code [REDACTED]
