Re Denver nitel to Butte, et al, 2/5/73, regarding suspect WILLIAM DEEMS.
Investigation at Roseburg, Oregon, disclosed WILLIAM F. DEEMS, Route 3, Box 435, Melrose Looking Glass Road, Rose- burg, came to Roseburg from Coram, Montana, in approximately December, 1972.
On 11/24/72, DEEMS and [REDACTED] purchased [REDACTED] County records show contract memo signed, but no details of financing disclosed. [REDACTED]
On 12/6/72, [REDACTED] on which [REDACTED] of which contract signed for balance of [REDACTED]. Utilities files disclose start of electrical service to above residence on 12/29/72, and telephone [REDACTED] initiated on 1/5/73. DEEMS listed occupation as retired.
No record of DEEMS at Roseburg sheriff's office or police department.
