Re Seattle memo of SA [REDACTED], 4-3-73.
On 4-17-73 MARY ANN WINN, Olympia, Washington, Police Department, advised her records reflect that JOHN MOONEY CARRAS, 905 Eskridge, Olympia, Washington, was arrested on 8-29-71, their arrest number 5559, on a charge of drunk and disorderly and discharging a firearm in the city. He forfeited $450 bail on 11-1-71.
CARRAS was described as follows:
Race - White Sex - Male Date of Birth - February 23, 1928 Place of Birth - Seattle, Washington Height - 6' Weight - 155 Pounds Hair - Black Eyes - Brown SSAN - 547 28 2199

On 4-25-73 [REDACTED] Washington State Department of Highways, Highway Administration Building, Olympia, Washington, advised that JOHN MOONEY CARRAS, date of birth 2-23-28, was employed by this department in the Materials Laboratory. He then verified that Mr. CARRAS was, according to records, on the job at the Materials Laboratory on 11-24-71 from 8:00 a. m. until 5:00 p. m.
In view of the fact that employment records indicate CARRAS was working on the day of the hijacking, no further investigation being conducted concerning this subject.
