[REDACTED] 1st Federal Savings & b6 Loan Company, Vancouver, Washington advised on 5-3-73 he was b7C reviewing records and noticed where CLIFFORD S. CHAMBERS, wife b7D MERLON C. CHAMBERS, on 5-5-72 deposited $15,000.00 in cash consisting of $5000 in one hundred dollar bills and the balance in $50 and smaller bills. He stated there is no local address for CHAMBERS, however he listed [REDACTED] Bellivue, Washington. He stated CHAMBERS purchased six month interest certificate deposits and to date the account has remain as opened with no withdrawals. He stated CHAMBERS indicated he a and his wife were going to travel.
He pointed out he did not recall too much of a description but felt in view of the deposit in such a large amount and that there was no local address furnished, CHAMBERS might possibly be involved in the NORJAK matter.
