A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Re: New Suspect [REDACTED]
---
On 1/26/73, an anonymous letter was received at the Los Angeles Office in which the writer states "For several reasons, I strongly suspect 'D.B. Cooper' is really one [REDACTED] of Hollywood". He lists four reasons why he believes [REDACTED] is identical to the hijacker as (1) strongly resembles artist's sketch seen on television; (2) he was a paratrooper while in the military service; (3) he was out of the city when the event took place; and (4) he visits northernCalifornia.
Records of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office (IASO), Los Angeles, California Police Department (LAPD), and the Credit Bureau of Greater Los Angeles revealed no record identifiable with [REDACTED] Hollywood, California.
Records of the California Department of Motor Vehicles reveal one individual possibly identical to [REDACTED] [REDACTED] referred to in the letter. This person was one [REDACTED] California Driver's License Number [REDACTED] male, born [REDACTED] 6'2", 180 pounds, blue eyes, blond hair, and residence shown as [REDACTED], Los Angeles, California. A former address as of 7/30/71, was shown as [REDACTED] Los Angeles, California. (This address is in Hollywood, California).
Discreet inquiry in the vicinity of [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Los Angeles, revealed [REDACTED] was employed as a real estate broker for [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Hollywood, California.
