[REDACTED], Sumner, Washington, phone [REDACTED] furnished the following information concerning a man whom he phonetically knew as GULOOSKI residing at 120th Street East and 214th Avenue East, Sumner (by description of the location and the above phonetic name it was determined that the true name of the suspect is A. A. GALLUCCI, 21411 120th Ave., East, Sumner);
---
[REDACTED] explained that he was a Reserve Deputy with the Pierce County Sheriff's Office and starting approximately six months before Thanksgiving of 1971 he had [REDACTED]. They were having trouble with the stop and go at 120th Street East and 214th Avenue East, and in connection with this he asked GALLUCCI who resided at that corner if he could park his car in this to observe the activity at this stop and go. Because he did this frequently at night, he struck up several conversations with GALLUCCI and ascertained over a period of time that GALLUCCI was previously a supervisor in design at Boeing Aircraft. Further, he is an officer in the Civil Air Patrol, Enumclaw Wing. In his yard at the back was a mach-up of what appeared to be the tail end of an aircraft, not to full scale but very large and on a platform. He thought it was the tail end because it had no large wings, only small wings protruding as a tail of an aircraft. He did not recall that it had a tail similar to a 727. GALLUCCI lived in a mobil home and he had occasion to go into the home where GALLUCCI housed his wife and several children. They had a modest home and GALLUCCI explained that he desired to get money to build a home on the property but it probably would be a long wait. He had contact with GALLUCCI up to about the time of the hijack and then there was a period he did not see him. Sometime about the time of the hijakk he had his automobile burglarized according to his report, during which his wallet and ID was taken.

time of the burglary, [REDACTED] recalled mentioning to him on some occasion that his dogs must have fussed greatly if somebody had come into his yard and burglarized his car. GALLUCCI at that point gave him no answer and looked at him with a severe look as he had apparently "hit a raw nerve." Then shortly after the hijack, some of the articles of his wallet were turned into [REDACTED] as they had been found in the brush next to his trailer; and in re- turning them, GALLUCCI had given him the same look as he had given him above.
---
After that it was quite some time before he saw him again and then seeing the circular with the artist's conception of D. B. COOPER, he was struck with the fact that he had seen that person somewhere before. In reflecting back, he believes now that the drawing looks similar to GALLUCCI. He explained that GALLUCII is probably 40 years of age, is about 5'9 1/2", has gained 15 to 20 pounds since the hijacking, and probably weighs 180 pounds. He wears dark glasses; however, [REDACTED] has never seen him smoke nor does he recall him dressing up in a suit. In reflecting back, he believes that in the latter part of 1972 GALLUCCI had a job teaching in the Enumclaw school system and in early 1973 he started building a new home. [REDACTED] saw him in the restaurant at Bonny lake and he then indicated that he had built his new house.
---
[REDACTED] stated that he feels that GALLUCCI may be D. B. COOPER in view of the similarity with the drawing, in view of the fact that he has come into some money, and further because of the mach-up plane that is in his back yard and his having been a Boeing engine·r. Never at any time was there any conversation with GALLUCCI that would lead [REDACTED] to believe that he might have any knowledge of the hijacking.
