What does the scan show?
A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

In view of the above, we should immediately:
1. Interview KIPERTS' brother ED in Bellevue and determine from him without suggestion if possible the period of time KIPERTS was in Bellevue on 11/25-29/71. Specifically, he should be asked when KIPERTS arrived there, what he did while there, and specifically questioned as to whether or not it is possible that he pulled the captioned case.
2. In addition, we should contact the "Bazaar" in Renton at once to verify the purchase of this gun.
3. We should immediately verify independently if possible the information furnished by his brother ED concerning this matter.
4. Upon receipt of the photograph from San Diego it should be displayed to the witnesses in this case immediately and the Portland Office advised as soon as possible of the results of these inquiries.
