Portland police dept. Fri[illegible]: NOV 23 Sirs, I don't know if what I tell you would be of any help [or] not but I was on Greyhound bus [REDACTED b6/b7C] coming South from Seattle [REDACTED b6/b7C] boarded the bus about 5 o'clock in the [m]uening later on the bus made a stop and picked up a few passengers and [I was a] man about 5'8" or around that [guess: stocky] I believe he was blue eyed he wore a army type Capt[ain] Coat he was carry[ing] army type Duffel Bag the large type he had it on his shoulder as he went down the [illegible] [guess: aisle] I just no[ticed] that [guess: plainly] this [m]uening he went to back of[f] the bus and went sleep he left the bus before [we] crossed the river at Portland I don[']t [know] if this [w]ill help or not but it[']s Bugged me ev[er] since I[']ve heard about it [guess: later].
