[REDACTED b6, b7C, b7D] on 6/26/74, by [REDACTED] (protect), [REDACTED] was accompanied during the interview by a [REDACTED] [REDACTED] an employee of the San Jose "News," a local English language newspaper. [REDACTED] was with [REDACTED] when he allegedly saw D. B. COOPER in San Jose.

[REDACTED] stated that during December 1973, they saw a man whom [REDACTED] believes was D. B. COOPER walking in an easterly direction as if he were coming from the post office.

When a copy of the artist's conception of the aircraft hijacker was shown to them they both stated that there was an overall resemblance, although they thought the man they saw had a broader face and a narrower nose. They described the person they saw as being approximately 35 to 37 years of age, 5'10" - 6'2" in height, 188 pounds, sandy blond hair, short and flat, neatly and smartly dressed.

Inasmuch as all logical leads in this matter have been covered, no further action is being taken at San Jose.
