[handwritten upper right: Sub 733 / [illegible] Disk / Jockey - Forks, Wash.]
The following investigation was conducted by SA [redacted b6 b7C] in Forks, Washington:
On 11/18 and 11/19/74, Mr. GORDON F. OTOS, President and Sales Manager, Forks Broadcasting Company, Station KVAC Radio, was contacted regarding information alleging that perhaps one of his disc jockeys might be identical to "D. B. COOPER" as set out in serial 6323 of this file.
Mr. OTOS gave the following information:
At the present time his disc jockey is LARRY A. BAILEY, born 6/26/47, who is described as slightly built, around 145 pounds, 5'7" to 5'8" tall. He advised that BAILEY is married, has [redacted b6 b7C] [redacted] while he was living in Forks, and does not to his knowledge have a large house and new car or an expensive power boat. Mr. OTOS also advised that to his knowledge BAILEY was not an ex-serviceman. The only additional information regarding BAILEY, according to OTOS, was that he was formerly employed by radio station KGY in Olympia, Washington, and came to work for KVAC during the latter part of 1971.
Mr. OTOS advised that he had only recently thrown away his radio logs and could not specifically say who was working on 11/24/71.
OTOS also advised that in addition to BAILEY, [redacted b6 b7C] [redacted] used to work for him as a disc jockey during the period encompassing 1971. He advised that [redacted] was an old Army buddy of his and was approximatley 46 years old, 6'1" tall, 200 pounds. OTOS advised that [redacted] inherited some money approximately three years ago and that at the present time [redacted] [redacted] and recently purchased a new house, but OTOS would not call it "a large home" but is simply a new one, which is across the street [redacted] He advised that [redacted] is an ex-serviceman, but was not a paratrooper but in the tank corp. [redacted] [redacted] approximately one year ago [handwritten: 164-81-6406] [handwritten: Sub 733] after working for Mr. OTOS for five years.

Mr. OTOS was then able to locate some pay records which indicated that both BAILEY and [redacted b6 b7C] were working during 11/71, but could not tell exactly what date; however, there was no indication that anyone subsituted [handwritten: FOR] either man on 11/24/71.
In conclusion, Mr. OTOS advised that he was familiar with the D. B. COOPER incident and stated that at the time the first artist's drawings came out in the papers regarding the appearance of D. B. COOPER, it was a "local joke" that [redacted b6 b7C] somewhat resembled the caricatures and OTOS advised that he supposed that some people might see a resemblance in the pictures with that of LARRY BAILEY.
On this same date, an arrest check with the Forks Marhal's Office and the Clallam County Sheriff's Office in Port Angeles, Washington, revealed no arrest record for either [redacted b6 b7C] or BAILEY.
