Northwest Orient Airlines Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport St. Paul, Minnesota 55111

Dear [redacted]:

---

On November 29, 1974 I received the following information from an informant concerning the hijacking that occurred on November [guess: 24], 1971 of a Northwest Airlines jet in Port- land, Oregon.

An employee, who presently works at Sea Airmotive, [guess: Lake] [guess: Hood], Anchorage, Alaska, received a post card shortly after the hijacking, bearing the message, "I got away with it". The post card was written by [redacted] (name not known), and sent to the above described individual while the above described individual was employed at a different air- line other than Sea Airmotive.

The post card was allegedly signed by D. B. Cooper, who is believed to be a former paratrooper and a former employee of an airline in Alaska.

Jerry Sibley and [redacted], who are believed to be pre- sently employed at Sea Airmotive, are believed to have know- ledge of the above described post card and Sibley may have been the person to whom the post card was originally sent.

The Phoenix, Arizona, office of the Federal Bureau of Inves- tigation has been supplied with the above information and are in the process of verifying the information. It is hoped that the above information will be beneficial in the solution of this much publicized crime and if the information is correct and beneficial in the solution of the case, con- sideration should be given my informant, who does not wish to be identified at the present time, in the payment of any reward
