Re Portland letter to Seattle dated 4/14/76.

On 5/10/76, Mr. JOHN KOCH, Manager, Diamond Lake Lodge, Diamond Lake, Oregon, advised SA JERRY G. WILSON that the Diamond Lake Lodge and resort area was scheduled to open within the next two weeks. However, KOCH felt cer- tain that DICK WALLER would not be returning to manage the south store at the Diamond Lake Resort. KOCH stated that he heard from WALLER approximately one month previously at which time WALLER stated he was in the State of Florida, and was going to work for a major sporting goods concern that is going to manufacture a new type of spinning reel. WALLER explained to KOCH that he, WALLER, is going to be the West Coast Representative, and will be traveling to various sporting goods stores on the West Coast during the summer of 1976, as "Mr. Yellow Tail" promoting the line of fishing equipment. KOCH stated that WALLER did offer to come to the Diamond Lake Lodge to help him open the south store. How- ever KOCH told WALLER that would not be necessary. KOCH stated that WALLER in his letter to him, indicated that he would be coming to the Medford and Grants Pass, Oregon, area.
