A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

LEADS:
ST. LOUIS DIVISION
At St. Louis, Missouri
Will locate COOPER's Army service record and forward one copy of that record to the Seattle Division.
---
DENVER DIVISION
At Denver, Colorado
Will report results of re-interview of witness FLORENCE SHAFFNER.
At Riverton, Wyoming
1. Will attempt to determine if COOPER's location on 11/24/71 can be established, either by contact with Mrs. MARY E. CONRAD, COOPER's sister, or through other logical investigation.
2. Will obtain from CONRAD background information concerning her brother and particularly whether he smokes cigarettes or not and if he has former pilot experience.
Denver is requested to expedite processing this suspect and to advise Seattle after all investigation is complete if it is felt that COOPER should be interviewed or that he can be eliminated as a suspect without sending a lead to Legat, Ottawa.
