RE: BRIAN DENNIS HODGSON, SUBJECT #752

---

Re Seattle memo of SA [redacted] dated 5/1/75.

On 6/17/75, [redacted] was located at his place of employment, the Undersea Harvesting Company, Poulsbo, Washington, telephone 779-4600, and advised that he and HODGSON, as well as [redacted], were in business together at one time under the name of Washington King Clam, Inc. He advised that [redacted] is currently living in Olympia and can be reached at telephone number [redacted]. He advised that he was aware of HODGSON's wife's suicide and her subsequent murdering of her two children and that following her death HODGSON came into an estate of $120,000. He stated that he could not be sure that HODGSON was working on 11/24/71, but nevertheless felt there was a very remote possibility that HODGSON was D.B. COOPER. He advised that HODGSON was not necessarily athletic and he did not have any knowledge of HODGSON as being a parachutist or very knowledgeable regarding airplanes. He advised that the photograph of HODGSON taken by the Olympia, Washington Police Department on 1/13/70 under #3589 was a good likeness of HODGSON at the time of the hi-jacking.

This includes investigation in Bremerton Resident Agency and any further investigation involving the interviewing of [redacted], telephone number [redacted] in Olympia, Washington is being left to the discretion of the case agent.
