A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Mr. John Baker Unit 6 237 Moray Street New Farm (Brisbane) 4005 Australia
Dear Mr. Baker:
This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of September 18, 1975, wherein you commented most favorably concerning the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) investigation of Jerry Dean Michael, the promoter of the 20th Century Motor Car Company.
As you may be aware, Mr. Michael was subsequently convicted in May of 1975 in connection with a bail jumping charge in a counterfeiting case. He was subsequently released to Texas authorities for prosecution in connection with the fraudulent promotion of his motor car company.
Your letter contained no specific information indicating a violation within the jurisdiction of the FBI in connection with Stanley Harold Anderson, formerly of Johnstown, Colorado, and we are taking no action in this regard.
Your cooperation in the past is appreciated very much.
Very truly yours,
[signature] PAUL C. YOUNG Special Agent in Charge
