For information of San Francisco, letter was received at FBIHQ 10/24/75. This letter contains information indicating that Mr. Wheeler located and is in possession of a parachute that he feels might possibly be connected with the Hijacking- Extortion Matter which occurred in captioned case on 11/24/71.
San Francisco is requested to acknowledge receipt of this letter in person with Mr. Wheeler and secure Bureau interest. San Francisco should advise the Bureau and interested offices of results of contact with Mr. Wheeler. No identifiable information concerning Mr. Wheeler could be located in Bureau indices.
