Dallas, Texas, Telephone [REDACTED] employed Borden Chemical Company, voluntarily appeared at the Dallas Office of the FBI, 12/18/75 and furnished the following information:
[REDACTED] is former member of Air National Guard. [REDACTED]
Base, Columbus, Ohio. A former member of that unit, DAVID B. ROEBUCK, is a long-time associate of [REDACTED]. They served together at Korea in the Air Force. [REDACTED] described ROEBUCK as having a "weird" sense of humor, and advises he is an expert pilot, having flown B 47's, F 100's, and T 33's. He is also an accomplished parachutist and has received instruction in sea and jungle survival. His hobbies consist of mountain climbing and deep sea diving. While in the Air Guard, ROEBUCK was not otherwise employed.
Approximately one and one half weeks prior to the Northwest Airlines hijacking on 11/21/71, ROEBUCK left Columbus, Ohio, stating he was going to Seattle, Washington. At the time of the hijacking, various members of the Air Guard discussed the possibility of ROEBUCK being the unsub in this matter. [REDACTED] advised he did not notify authorities because there appeared to be a height discrepancy between unsub and ROEBUCK. He is now furnishing

this information because he recently read of the Statute of Limitations running out in this matter. ROEBUCK has recently returned to the Columbus, Ohio area, but [REDACTED] does not know where he lives or what he is doing for a living. He noted that [REDACTED] Columbus, Ohio, who is now in the above mentioned unit, advised [REDACTED] that ROEBUCK had inquired about getting back into the unit in November, 1975.
Artist's conception photographs of unsub were displayed to [REDACTED] stated ROEBUCK does not resemble these photographs. He advised that ROEBUCK was practically bald back to the middle part of the head and he had light to medium complexion.
