RE: SUSPECT EDWARD A. LAME

---

The following investigation was conducted by SA [REDACTED] at Orangeburg, S. C:

On 3/24/76 [REDACTED] Credit Bureau of Orangeburg, S. C., made available a record for EDWARD A. LAME, SSN 531-16-2565 which shows his residence as follows:

September 1974: Wood Hills Columbia, S. C.

Prior to 9/74: 1700 Lake View Dr. Monroe, N. C.

September 1975: 1583 Greenvalley Orangeburg, S. C.

November 1975: 2007 Whitepin Road North Augusta, S. C.

---

On 3/24/76 [REDACTED] Piggly Wiggly advised EDWARD E. LAME was employed as a meat cutter for six months in 1975. He said LAME was a quiet individual about 50 years old, wore glasses and was a heavy drinker.

[REDACTED] Piggly Wiggly, advised he knew LAME while he was at the store and described him as a person who was fine until he was drinking, then he would make any kind of wild statement you could imagine. [REDACTED] said LAME was a good butcher and steady employee, but the drinking ruined him.

---

On 4/29/76 the composite photographs of the unknown subject, aka DAN COOPER without shades was shown to [REDACTED] and they advised this did not resemble EDWARD A. LAME in any way.
