A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Re report of SA [redacted] dated 5/30/73, at Seattle, Washington.

On 12/3/76, [redacted] Louisiana telephone tele- phonically contacted SA [redacted] at the Portland Office to advise as follows:

A number of years ago she was cooperative with and furnished information concerning criminal matters to the FBI. She has not done so in a number of years. She recently saw an article concerning captioned hijacking and she believes she knows the identity of the individual who committed this hijacking. She declined to furnish any information concerning the identity of her suspect and she requested that if an Agent contacts her to get her information that he not tell the City Marshal, HARMON IDOM at [redacted] Louisiana about any contact with her as the Marshal [redacted]

During this telephone call [redacted] on several occasions mentioned her desperate need for money and inquired concerning possible payment to her for information furnished. No commitment of any kind was made to her.

Portland Indices are negative concerning [redacted]
