A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Re: UNIDENTIFIED WITNESS FURNISHED INFORMATION REGARDING CENTURY SKYDIVING TEAM

On 12/31/71 an unidentified white male telephonically contacted SA [REDACTED] at the Portland FBI Office and desired to know if the FBI is still looking for COOPER, hi- jacker of the Northwest Airlines aircraft. The caller stated the FBI should attempt to contact [REDACTED] [REDACTED] of the "Century Skydiving Team," which at one time operated at theScholes Airport, Vancouver, Wash- ington. The caller indicated these individuals would have information concerning a person who performed with this team. The caller stated the above persons could furnish the descrip- tion of the hijacker and they would know the identity of the hijacker.

This individual was asked how he knew this and he stated he knew and once the unknown subject had been identi- fied and apprehended his revenge would be complete. He indi- cated he knew the identity of the person who could be responsible for the hijacking.

The caller was very incoherent during most of the conversation and stated at the conclusion of the call, "When you get the hijacker, tell him it was [REDACTED] who turned him in to the FBI." The caller then laughed and hung up.
