January 11, 1972, the records of the Tacoma Police Department were caused to be searched and produced the following information:

On January 12, 1972, [REDACTED] was contacted at his residence of [REDACTED] Tacoma, Washington. [REDACTED] advised that he had originally felt that [REDACTED] was the hijacker based solely on the facial resemblance of [REDACTED] to that of the artist's conception of the hijacker. [REDACTED] stated that he now feels that [REDACTED] is not the hijacker and that he, [REDACTED] may have made a snap judgement.

[REDACTED] stated that [REDACTED] looked like the hijacker in that both [REDACTED] and the hijacker were said to have a smooth face, and that [REDACTED] had been in trouble in the past. [REDACTED] stated that he has since heard that the hijacker was supposed to have been quite a bit older than [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] stated that he knew [REDACTED] from the fact that [REDACTED] both attended the same church in Tacoma. [REDACTED] stated that he has not seen [REDACTED] moved from the Tacoma area in approximately August of 1971.
