On 5/1/71 [REDACTED] Washington telephonically advised this agent that [REDACTED] would be a good prospect to consider as being the subject in the hijacking of the Northwest Orient Airliner on Thanksgiving Eve, 1971. [REDACTED] advised that [REDACTED] left Goldendale area in mid-1971 ostensibly to go to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, which is in the north slope area. [REDACTED] advised that this is only a "hunch" of his but he feels that [REDACTED] bears checking out. He stated that [REDACTED] is a private pilot and a skydiver and that he is quite familiar with the area in which the hijacker supposedly bailed out. He stated that [REDACTED] left very quickly in late Fall, 1971 and that she sent a change of address form to [REDACTED] in February, 1972 saying that she is presently living in Vancouver, Washington. He states that [REDACTED] is employed as [REDACTED] and that he worked on the construction of the Harvey Aluminum Plant located on the Columbia River south of [REDACTED] in 1971. While working on the Harvey Aluminum Plant [REDACTED] probably worked for HEINTZ EMERICK Construction Company which is out of Portland, Oregon. [REDACTED] states that [REDACTED] is also a skydiver.
