Re memo SA [REDACTED] dated 4/17/72.
On May 2, 1972, [REDACTED] Washington, was contacted and stated that he was having a drink at the St. Helens Bar in Chehalis, Washington, and that a man sitting next to him paid for his drink with a $50 bill. [REDACTED] stated that the man had a lot of money in his billfold, consisting of some $100 bills and $50 bills. [REDACTED] stated that the man was well dressed and didn't talk much, but because of the amount of money the man had, he thought he should call the FBI. Due to the fact of the above sketchy information obtained from [REDACTED] concerning the man at the bar, this suspect should be eliminated.
