On 6/7/72 and 6/13/72 a [redacted] Kent, Washington [redacted] appeared at the Seattle office. [redacted] stated that he sales some of the land that he ownes and that a man named [redacted] [redacted] trying to buy some. [redacted] stated that the [redacted] has stated in the past meetings with [redacted] that he uses the name DB COOPER.
On [redacted] first visit to this office he stated that [redacted] is about 6' 1", 165 lbs, blond hair, wears glasses and doesn't smoke.
On [redacted] second visit to this office he sated that [redacted] is still trying to buy his land. [redacted] stated that [redacted] [redacted] was driving a a Oldsmobile. [redacted] stated that he has gone to the the King County administration bldg and had verified [redacted] address as being [redacted] Bellevue, Wn with a person named [redacted] [redacted] also stated that he went to the public library and read the papers about the D.B. COOPER case. [redacted] stated that he has found out tha t SA TOM MANNING is the head investigator on the case. [redacted] also stated that the description of [redacted] is just like that of D.B. COOPER. [redacted] stated that [redacted] is [guess: 5'] [guess: 11"] to 6' 0", 160 lbs, brown hair. The writer again asked if the [redacted] he knows wears glasses or smokes, [redacted] stated that [redacted] does not wear glasses and he does smoke.
[redacted] did not mention any amount of money that he and [redacted] have been talking about. [redacted] stated that he would contact this office if he received any addit- ional information.
