The following investigation was conducted by Special Agent [REDACTED b6/b7C]
AT SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
On September 1, 1972, witness [REDACTED b6/b7C] examined the artist's color composite of Unsub and made the following comments:
Nose Better than original artist's drawing.
Glasses The frame should be wider where it meets the glass part of the eye- glasses. The glasses on the original composite are better than on the new color sketch. The color of the glasses can best be described as dark honey brown.
Hair color Good.
Hairline Too low. Much better in the original artist's composite. Hair had a greasier appearance than shown in the color composite.
Complexion Slightly paler. More towards the yellow side.
Age About right.
Chin Little too long.
Mouth A little too small and drawn down. Upper lip too pressed.
Ears Satisfactory.
Neck Not as much room between chin and collar.
Forehead Should not be any wider.

[REDACTED] advised he also saw unknown subject with his glasses on; and therefore, all of his comments pertained only to both the color composite and the original artist's sketch with glasses on. [REDACTED] further advised that the original artist's sketch with glasses on should have larger eyes, a wider nose, and a wider mouth.
[REDACTED] stated the hijacker looked honest with a "kind of nothing" appearance.
[REDACTED] advised he could correct and suggest changes to an artist's sketch done in a two-thirds to three-quarters perspective if one were presented to him.
---
On September 1, 1972, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Seattle, Washington, telephone number [REDACTED] made the following comments after viewing the color sketch:
---
Facial features Features in color sketch were similar to hijacker's. Face Should be a little wider in the middle but the forehead was the correct size and should not be changed.
Mouth Okay
Glasses Satisfactory
Nose Should be flatter and wider.
Hair Should be heavier and greasier. Hair color good.
Age About right according to [REDACTED] who stated the color composite resembled a man approximately 40-42 years of age.
Complexion Color composite should be changed to reflect a man with a slightly darker complexion.

[REDACTED] stated he thinks he still remembers the hijacker but advised he only got a quick look at him.
On September 5, 1972, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] telephone number [REDACTED] viewed the color composite of unknown subject and made the following comments concerning the sketch with glasses:
Hair Color good but should be curled more.
Lips Not submissive enough.
[REDACTED] made the following comments concerning the picture without glasses:
Appearance Hijacker did not have as nasty or as angry an appearance.
Hair Color correct.
Age Too old by approximately four years. [REDACTED] stated the age of the individual depicted in the color composite looked to him to be about 45-48 years old. It was his opinion unknown subject was approximately 38-40 years old.
Complexion Forehead should be slightly more copper colored, otherwise complexion was good. [REDACTED] advised the lights on the air- plane could possibly account for some of the swarthy appearance of unknown subject.
Cheeks Should be slightly fuller.
Mouth Too emphasized. Definitely wrong.
Nose Better in the color sketch than in the original drawing.
Chin Satisfactory.

[REDACTED] further stated the mouth should not be b6 curled down to give the impression of angriness or nasti- b7C ness but should be made similar to the original artist's conception.
[REDACTED] advised from the top of the nose up the b6 color composite was very good and the entire drawing had b7C good proportions similar to those of the hijacker.
[REDACTED] further advised that the hijacker definitely b6 had some Indian or Mexican blood in him. He would guess about b7C one quarter Indian or Mexican blood.
[REDACTED] advised he saw the hijacker when he went to the b6 bathroom [REDACTED], when [REDACTED] was deplaning, he stopped to b7C look at him while he was obtaining his coat.
[REDACTED] advised he believes he could criticize b6 a profile drawing or three-quarter view drawing if one were b7C shown to him.
