RE UNSUB; ORANGE PARACHUTE FOUND PLUMAS COUNTY SUB 520

Re Sacramento nitel to Seattle, 10/26/72.

Instant parachute shown to EARL COSSEY on November 1, 1972, and he definitely eliminated it as being one of the parachutes given to Unsub on November 24, 1971. COSSEY stated parachute shown to him did not have the required markings on it and the canopy was orange. In addition, the back pack did not have a place to attach a chest pack as did the one supplied to Unsub.

Seattle has disposed of instant parachute.

ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
