A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Dear Sir:
The "D. B. Cooper" hijacking case still seems to be hanging in air---unsolved. The money has never come into cir- culation; no credible reports of the "presence" of the man; ground searches have not produced any positive evidence.
Which brings me to my reason for writing. Have any underwater searches been conducted, i.e., Riffe Lake in Lewis Co., Lake Merwin or Yale Res- ervoir in Cowlitz Co., or Swift Reservoir in Skamania Co. Or possibly Spirit Lake in Skamania County.

I feel an extensive search will reveal D.B. Cooper en- tangled in two fouled chutes with the 'money case' (bag?) lashed to his body in one of the afore-mentioned bodies of water.
I am not a seer --- or whatever --- but a certainty of feeling that has come to [guess: me] for no apparent reason makes me sure this is where he will be found.
Sincerely yours,
