Enclosed for Seattle are nine (9) copies of an FD-302 reflecting interview with [REDACTED] and two (2) copies of a 1970 photograph of [REDACTED].

Miner County Sheriff EUGENE KOLBACH, Howard, South Dakota, advised SA [REDACTED] that he is acquainted with [REDACTED]. He said [REDACTED] parents are deceased, but that he has [REDACTED] in the Howard area from Seattle. [REDACTED] resides in the area.

Sheriff KOLBACH and SA [REDACTED] located [REDACTED] who is employed by the Miner County Highway Department [REDACTED] stated that the last time he heard from [REDACTED] was approximately one year ago when he [REDACTED] telephoned his [REDACTED] residence. At that time, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was living somewhere northwest of [REDACTED] South Dakota. He said both of [REDACTED] parents are deceased. He further advised [REDACTED] has never been in the military due to a bad heart. A few years ago he had a serious operation. He described [REDACTED] as a "smart kid" who never applied himself. He said he is capable of just about anything and has been in trouble on many occasions.

[REDACTED] supra, advised SA [REDACTED] that photographs of unidentified white male do not resemble unsub. She advised that this individual appears to be more handsome than unsub.

[REDACTED] supra, advised SA [REDACTED] on 4/27/73, that photograph of white male in which individual is wearing a cap, does resemble unsub when eyes are covered with a small piece of paper. She advised that during the hijacking, unsub did not look directly at her, nor did he sit up straight in the seat. At all times unsub was bending over. She advised that the angle of the head in photograph was similar to the angle in which she saw unsub. She advised that if eyes were uncovered, this photograph lost some of its similarity to unsub. She advised that from the cheekbone down, this photograph appears to be similar with unsub. She advised that when she first covered the eyes on the photograph, she had a "weird feeling". She advised that she could not positively identify this individual as being identical to unsub, but believed this photograph to be most similar to unsub as she remembered him.
