A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

AIRTEL AIRMAIL

TO : DIRECTOR, FBI (164-2111) [handwritten: illegible initials]

FROM : SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) (P)

SUBJECT: NORJAK CO: SEATTLE

MONTHLY SUMMARY

Re Seattle airtel to Bureau, dated 7/6/73.

SUSPECTS

No outstanding suspects are under consideration at this time. There are currently 660 suspects, 501 of whom have been eliminated. New suspects are being developed and systematic elimination of these suspects continues.

FILE REVIEW

Serial by serial, subject by subject, file review continues at Seattle.

MISCELLANEOUS

Unsub may have made a trial run prior to NORJAK to perfect his hijack plan, therefore, leads have been set out to determine the feasibility of obtaining passenger lists from all Northwest-Orient Airlines flights from Portland to Seattle during the period 11/10/71 - 11/23/71. If passenger lists of flights from Portland to Seattle for two weeks prior to NORJAK can be obtained, the names on these lists would be compared to NORJAK indices and other lists currently on file at Seattle, in order to possibly identify Unsub.
