Special Agent [REDACTED] advised that from a review of [REDACTED] record it appears to him that in 1971 [REDACTED] traveled from 10/30/71 to [REDACTED] in Texas. [REDACTED] He stated that since the record does not specify how many days of the week [REDACTED] actually attended the course he can presume that it was approximately two weeks in length. He also noted that since [REDACTED] graduated on 11/16/71 and had travel authorization until 11/19/71 that [REDACTED] apparently drove back from [REDACTED]. He stated that he noted nothing in [REDACTED] military record to indicate that [REDACTED] had any leave subsequent to 11/19/71.

---

Special Agent [REDACTED] advised that he would make inquiry about any record that would be available after a period of two years to verify whether or not [REDACTED] was on duty at [REDACTED] on 11/24/71 and further to determine where the permanent leave records for [REDACTED] could be located for review to determine if he had any leave subsequent to 11/19/71 and covering the date of 11/24/71.

On 8/17/73 Special Agent [REDACTED] advised that [REDACTED] permanent leave record can be located at the AFAFC/MPO in Denver, Colorado, and the person to contact there is [REDACTED]. This leave record will show whether or not [REDACTED] had any leave subsequent to 11/19/71.

---

Special Agent [REDACTED] advised that the only possible record that would show [REDACTED] was on duty on 11/24/71 would be the morning report, however, he advised that to his knowledge there is no requirement that they be maintained for any length of time. He also found out that a military man on leave does not have to sign out on the morning report, however, he must furnish a leave card and the address where he intends to be.

---

Special Agent [REDACTED] advised that there was a possibility that the morning reports for 11/24/71 may still be available at [REDACTED] Nevada.
