DEAR SIR

HERE IS WHAT I SINCERELY HOP TURNS OUT TO BE A TIP ON THE UNITED AIRLINES HI-JACKING. AS I REMEMBER THE CASE, IN THE EARLY 1960,S THERE WAS A BANK ROBBED IN A SMALL TOWN OVER ON THE SEATTLE OR TACOMA SIDE OF THE INLET. THE WAY IT WAS ROBBED KEEPS WORKING ON MY MIND, AND PROMPTED ME TO WRITE THIS LETTER.

AS I REMEMBER THE BANK CASE, THE ROBBER TUNNELED UNDER THE BANK BLDG FROM A HILL SIDE, ABOUT 300FEET IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, HE THEN BLEW THE VAULT AND GOT AWAY WITH QUITE A LARGE SUM OF MONEY, HE THEN GOT CAUGHT BY THE F.B.I. BY PASSING THE MONEY' I THOUGHT MAYBE YOU TRIED THE CASE AND WOULD REMEMBER THE NAME, HE WOULD PROBALLY HAVE BEEN OUT ON PAROLE JUST ABOUT THE TIME OF THE HI-JACKING. [REDACTED] AT THE TIME , BUT I DONT REMEMBER THE MANS NAME, AT THE TIME I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THAT JOB BECAUSE IT TOOK QUITE A BIT OF SMARTS TO DO A JOB LIKE THAT, TO ME THIS MAN WOULD HAVE ALL OF THE QUALITIES TO PULL A JOB LIKE THE HI-JACKING, MR ALIAS D.B.COOPER IS A VERY SMART MAN BUT IT BURNS ME UP TO SEE HIM GET AWAY WITH IT. YOU WILL PROBALLY THINK I AM A NUT FOR WRITING YOU THIS LETTER, BUT I REALLY AND TRULY HOPE THIS TURNS OUT TO BE A GOOD TIP.
