ARMED AND DANGEROUS

Re Anchorage airtel to Seattle, 5/2/75.

On 5/14/75, [REDACTED], Anchorage, Alaska, advised he is employed at Century Automatic Sprinkler Company, telephone 349-1526. He has been in Alaska for a few months but originally lived in the State of Washington and has spent some time in Oregon. He indicated he has always been interested in police work and as such, is familiar with "D.B. COOPER" aircraft hijacking case. He inquired as to if the Statute of Limitations had run on this case and if there was a reward still being offered for its solution.

He was advised in the affirmative and then furnished the following information:

A female acquaintance of his in Anchorage, who he declined to identify, as he did not want to get her involved, told him of an incident that had happened recently. This female had been drinking with another female in Anchorage and the other female, after she had become quite intoxicated, related that she thought she knew who had been responsible for the "D.B. COOPER" hijacking. At the time of the hijacking, this woman had been attending a nursing school in Longview, Washington. There was a white male, also attending this

nursing school, who generally fit the description of "D.B. COOPER". This individual was an experienced skydiver and had won trophies for participation in this activity. Shortly after the hijacking occurred, this individual appeared to be living beyond his means. After graduating from the nursing school, the male individual moved to the Portland, Oregon area, where he took on employment as a male nurse.

[REDACTED] does not know the identity of the woman who was furnishing this information, but feels that because it was told in confidence, while the woman was intoxicated, it may have some basis for truth. [REDACTED] will recontact his female acquaintance and determine if she will cooperate with authorities or can furnish any information concerning the identity of the female who worked in the Longview Nursing Home.

The above information is furnished for the information of the Seattle Office and should Anchorage develop any additional information concerning the identity of the individuals mentioned above, the Seattle Office will be so advised.
